Engagements are scoped around defined technical questions, reproducible evidence and practical deliverables, from independent assessment through to custom development and integration.
Technical Concept Review
Independent technical assessment of proposed fusion, simulation and engineering concepts.
We review the stated mechanism, assumptions, evidence and implementation approach to identify technical weaknesses, unresolved questions and areas that warrant further investigation. The purpose is to test whether the concept survives basic engineering and scientific scrutiny before additional time or money is committed.
Reviews are evidence-led and may conclude that a concept is technically promising, requires substantial revision, lacks sufficient support, or does not justify further development. You are paying for an independent assessment, not a positive opinion.

Independent reproduction of submitted software, simulation or computational workflows against a defined execution claim.
We establish the required environment, follow the supplied execution procedure and record whether the submitted artefact runs as described and produces the outputs the author states it should produce. Environment details, dependencies, artefact hashes, observed outputs and material deviations are documented as part of the verification record.
Execution Verification confirms reproducibility of the stated workflow. It does not, by itself, certify that the underlying scientific model, assumptions or resulting conclusions are physically valid.

Project-specific engineering support for organisations using Chatwood Labs software and open-source tools.
We can adapt existing tools to defined technical requirements, develop additional features or validation cases, integrate workflows with existing systems, and support packaging, deployment or data interchange where standard releases do not meet a project’s needs.
Commercial support does not replace the open-source development model. Public tools remain available under their published licences; organisations can engage Chatwood Labs when they need dedicated engineering time, prioritised delivery or implementation responsibility.
